Joint-Stock Company “Electric Machine Building Works “LEPSE” is one of the largest enterprises manufacturing airborne electrical equipment. All home-produced airliners are equipped with products manufactured by the plant. Nowadays aviation and special equipment constitute 70% of the overall production. At the plant total cycle of product manufacturing is performed, it includes developing, manufacturing, test procedures and service maintenance.
Thanks to diversification JSC “LEPSE” is a successful enterprise which produces products competitive at domestic and foreign markets. The assortment of products is constantly expanded, new directions are mastered: automotive and medical equipment, equipment for atom industry, oil recovery, railways, tank equipment.



The history of aviation development in Russia is inseparably linked with JSC “Electric Machine Building Works “LEPSE”, one of the largest enterprises manufacturing airborne electrical equipment. All stock-produced airliners are equipped with the products of the plant.

Development strategy of JSC “LEPSE” is embedding of the newest technologies and equipment, perspective materials and element base. All modern technological processes are applied:
•    metal, plastic and rubber casting;
•    all types of machining;
•    heat treatment, technological processes with laser application;
•    galvanic operations and varnish-and-paint works;
•    wiring and assembly operations;
•    all types and kinds of test procedures.
The plant performs the total cycle of manufacturing: developing, manufacturing, test procedures and service maintenance.
Today JSC “LEPSE” produces more than 600 types of aviation electric units which are applied in all types of aircrafts, helicopters and aerospace objects:
•    AC and DC generators;
•    electric motors of different types and purpose;
•    electric actuators of linear, rotary and swinging motion
•    switching equipment, relays, contactors, microswitches;
•    engine starting equipment, energy control and conversion unit;
•    reducing gears and jacks.
Items manufactured by the plant are used in aircrafts developed by design bureaus of Antonov (An-70, An-124, An-140, An-148 and others), Beriyev (Be-103, Be-200), Ilyushin (Il-76, Il-114, Il-96-300), Kamov (Ka-32, Ka-50, Êà-52, Ka-62, Ka-226), Mil (Mi-8, Mi-24, Mi-26, Mi-28N, Mi-35, Mi-38), Mikoyan (MiG-29, MiG-29K/KUB, MiG-31, MiG-35 and others), Sukhoi (Su-25, Su-30, Su-35 and others), Tupolev (Tu-204, Tu-214, Tu-334 and others), Yakovlev (Yak-130). The plant works in cooperation with all aviation enterprises of Russia and neighboring foreign countries.
JSC “LEPSE” constantly masters new items. For this purpose the development department is arranged at the enterprise, it deals with scientific research and developing works for items of aviation application, the items include:
•    electric motors of all types;
•    actuators of rotary, linear and swinging motion.
The production of unique items is mastered:
•    generator GT120PCh6À for air-borne and ground application with power of 120 kV•A and weight of 67 kg only;
•    series of small size crane electric actuators MPK-31À-34B;
•    generator GVP3VM with fuel cooling and adjustment unit BVPR-4SM;
•    guidance drives PV, PG, PN-24;
•    executive electric actuator MPR9Ì and others.

High intellectual potential of the staff and modern production and technological base have allowed us to realize successfully the program of development, mastering and manufacture of new production lines, including the consumer goods. Now alongside with the main products “LEPSE” JSC is manufacturing:

•    Power tools (angle grinders, electric pick-hammers, knife blade and nibble shears);
•    Kitchen and home appliances (kitchen machines, electric pumps, vegetable shredders and etc.)
•    Automotive components (power windows, electric motors for heating systems);
•    Electric motors for executive atomic power plant actuators;
•    Electric equipment for railway industry (electric motors with control equipment for point operating gear, electric pumps for heating systems and others);
•    Equipment for oil recovery;
•    Medical equipment.
Sales volume of consume goods constantly grows. Our products were awarded with medals and numerous diplomas of exhibitions and fairs. Many times it became a prize-winner of competition “100 Best Goods of Russia”.
•    household electric pump “Vodoley-3”, series of kitchen machines “Gamma” got gold medals;
•    new generation grinder MSHU-2-230P (professional angle grinder) is considered the best one at specialized exhibition “Expo-Tool-2006” in Samara.

“LEPSE” plant is in the state register of suppliers of railway and aerospace products.

We have licenses for development, production and service maintenance of armament preparation, military and aviation technologies, quality management system of the enterprise is certified according to standards GOST R ISO 9001 and GOST RV 15.002, and this gives much more opportunities for entrance to the market. All consume goods of the plant are certified.
